Party for the Planet

Roger Williams Park Zoo has planned a packed week of green-themed fun and activities April 19 – 25, 11am-3pm each day of school vacation week for many students in Rhode Island and Connecticut. The Zoo’s annual “Party for the Planet” is one of its most popular events and offers families a great way to greet spring with a fun visit to the Zoo that’s complemented by a full schedule of earth-friendly activities, performances, demonstrations and more.

Each day of Party for the Planet will be centered around a different theme.
Monday 4/19 – Go Green RI (showcasing products and services available in the state to help live a green lifestyle)

Tuesday 4/20 – Water, Water Everywhere (a day dedicated to educating guests on how to preserve our natural water resources and enjoy the Ocean State)

Wednesday 4/21 – Amazing Agriculture (a day dedicated to RI Agriculture)

Thursday 4/22 – Healthy Active Earth (a day showcasing activities that can be done outside to promote healthy living and foster a love of nature)

Friday 4/23 – Art of Nature (a day showcasing artists that use recycled materials or draw inspiration from nature to create their art)

Saturday 4/24 – Sing, Dance and Be Green (a day dedicated to performing arts that have a environmental or nature theme)

Sunday 4/25 - Earth Day Celebration (big component is our Environmental Fair)
