· 70,000 new chemicals have been introduced since WWII. Today, thousands of these chemicals are appearing on the shelves of your grocery store.

· The Enviornmental Protection Agency (EPA) admits that reliable toxicity data exists for only about 43% of chemicals in use today!

· Approximately 1.4 million children under the age of 12 are poisoned in the US each year.

· The most common poison is a household cleaner or personal care product.

· Another study, conducted over a 15-year period, found that women who worked at home had a 54% higher death rate from cancer than women who had jobs away from home. The study concluded that the increased death rate was due to daily exposure to the hazardous chemicals found in ordinary household products.

· EPA's Total Exposure Assessment Methodology (TEAM) studies found levels of about a dozen common organic pollutants to be 2 to 5 times higher inside homes than outside, regardless of whether the homes were located in rural or highly industrial areas.

· Many scientists and doctors are discovering that there is a connection between our increased use of household chemicals and the increased incidence of chronic illnesses in children like cancer, asthma, ADD, birth defects, and a host of other problems.

Thus we have kicked off a drive to gather vegetable oil to make into biodiesel so we can sell it to self fund. Our buyer (Vic @ East Prov. Fuel) will be blending it with fossil fuel oil but more imnportantly he has a discount program for those who qualify. Presently we are gathering about 150 gals/week but need as much as possible. Any assistance in helping get the word to restaurant owners will be appreciated. We will be non profit status once up and running.

Not only is your method great for the enviroment, it is also a tremendous benefit to peoples health all around. I have a background in "non- toxic" clothes cleaning, having worked in the industry when only 3 enviromentally safe cleaners existed in the US.
