GoGreenRI.org is offering State of Rhode Island environmental departments and organizations the opportunity to deliver information, post events, solicit volunteers, build awareness of environmental issues and start local discussion forums for FREE.

Citadel Broadcasting’s on-going commitment to environmental consciousness continues in 2009 with the launch of GoGreenRI.org in conjunction with News Talk 630 WPRO & 99.7 FM, 92 PRO-FM, Lite Rock 105, Hot 106 and 790 True Oldies on March 9th, 2009. Citadel Broadcasting is committed to supporting Rhode Island environmental efforts and we’re looking for your participation. Our goal is to advance our state in critical areas to protect, preserve, and maximize our resources.

GoGreenRI.org is an online resource for community organizations and individuals to post “green” local events as well as recommend tips and tricks for living a “green” lifestyle. Currently the site features information on how to save energy, live organically, and an ever growing list of Rhode Island resources. There will be forums for people to interact, as well as a Carbon Footprint Calculator which helps everyone discover how they are impacting the planet.
